Anthropological collection

Due to piety consideration, during prior archeological excavations, human skeleton remains were left in the graves, and later the anthropological material was taken to the Anthropology Collection of Natural History Museum.

This collection came to life in the 1960s, currently it consists of around 1500 human skeleton remains. The unique parts of the collection are Károly Árpás' authentic reconstructions of skulls.
