Collection of Applied Arts

The collection of applied arts came to life with the relocation of Darnay Museum to Keszthely, but by the end of World War II., it was fully destroyed.

Based on the decree-law of IV. 1952., furniture from several castles and mansions' were brought to the museum. We gave hundreds of furniture to the Festetics Palace in the 1960s and 1970s. The heritage(1952) of Antal Sigray was given back to the inheritors. Currently the collection consists of 1368 items.
