Can I pay by credit card at the Museum?
Yes. You can also pay with Mastercard / Visa / Maestro cards at our cashdesk. We also accept cash and SZÉP cards for payment. Alternatively for groups, you may pay a lump sum in advance by bank transfer, after which we issue an invoice.
Where can I park, and how much do I have to pay when I visit the Museum?
You can park for free around the Balatoni Museum (Kossuth Lajos, Martinovics and Múzeum streets). You can read more about the accessing and parking options here.
Where can I find the parking lot for the disabled?
In front of the main entrance to the Museum, you can access the Museum’s disabled parking lot from Kossuth Lajos Street. You can read more about the accessing and parking options here.
Can I access the Museum’s exhibitions as a disabled person?
Yes. All the exhibitions of the Museum are accessible. In front of the main entrance to the Museum, you can access the Museum’s disabled parking lot from Kossuth Lajos Street. From here, a sign shows the disabled entrance, it is to the left of the main entrance of the Museum. Just ring and our staff will help you get in! The services of the Balatoni Museum are available to visitors with disabilities almost without exception.
Can I go to the Museum and exhibitions with a dog?
Yes, with small puppies. Unfortunately, not with larger-bodied dogs. All the exhibitions of the Museum can be viewed with guide dogs regardless of size.
I am building and I have been required to do archaeological work according to the building permit. What shall I do?

Does the Museum buy antiques and works of art?
The Balatoni Museum only buys works of art which belong to the sphere of its collection, and with the help of tender resources. Send your specific question and offer together with the photo of the given artefact to firstname.lastname@example.org!
